In this video I install Dragonfly batteries in a 2015 Unity. I also install the Bluetooth Victron Smart Shunt for battery monitoring from a phone or tablet. The Victron Smart Shunt is a must have for any batteries that don't have a built-in internal bluetooth battery monitoring system. A Victron Smart Shunt is basically a fuel guage for your batteries, giving you accurate battery information so you know exactly what your battery status is at any given moment. Here is a video that explains how to read and understand the information from a Victron Smart Shunt, https://youtu.be/SrFbileQT8E.

Sandy, I'd like to participate in the installation of the Victron shunt for our Wonder 2023/RTB. I have purchased all the supplies, is there still availability in this workshop?
Thanks
Keith Haldeman
Sandy, I'd like to participate in the Victron Smart Shunt install for our 2020 Wonder RTB. We will be arriving on Thursday for the rally. Thanks!
Sandy, I don't think I need the shunt, but would like to watch the DIY session as I can always learn something
Thanks, Bob Schlesinger
Hello, Sandy. I'm looking forward to seeing you at the Rally. I have just ordered the items you recommend and would like to participate in the DIY Victron installation.
Safe travels to you and fur friends. See you in Palmetto,
Sharron O'Brien
I want to attend the DIY Victron Smart Shunt. Michael Tantillo
I'm arriving at the Surf Resort 2 days ahead of the Rally ( arriving Wednesday), so if anyone participating in this Victron Smart Shunt DIY event comes early, I'm at site 4 (in the Mocha Unity), come knock on my door and introduce yourself. If I can help getting the Smart Shunt installed before the Rally starts that reduces the number during the Rally.
This will be great Sandy-thank you. As we discussed at Hershey, Larry has purchased the cable and Victron. Looking forward to seeing you & the rest!
I have noticed by the number of recurring themed posts on the LTV Enthusiasts Facebook Group, that one big problem area for LTV owners is related to understanding the state of the coach batteries. An invaluable tool for monitoring your battery status and preventing voltage problems is to use a Victron Smart-Shunt. It's a fuel guage for your batteries. During our upcoming Florida Flamingles Rally, I will be conducting a hands-on DIY session, teaching club members how to do the simple Victron Smart Shunt installation, so they don't have to fear battery failures. Here is a video that explains how to read the Victron Shunt, https://youtu.be/SrFbileQT8E. I'll help members install their shunts but it's their responsibility to download the Victron Connect App and input the settings for their batteries, which you'll find in my attached Quick Shunt installation guide. Here is a video that will help you do this, https://youtu.be/9R822EIZZns?si=NxOhEz30b-LKdd9I.
Here are the parts people need to to bring to participate in the upcoming Flamingles Rally DIY event.

Reply to this post if you are interested in participating in the DIY session so I have an idea how many folks want to do an install on their rig.
