How do we sign up for this rally? Will there be forms?

Good Morning All,

Just wanted to let you know that Patty Bignoli, our current Secretary, and her husband, Giovanni, have sold their LTV and won’t be able to make it to any of our future rallies.

Patty was such a fantastic help when we needed someone to fill this role, and we’re so grateful for her willingness to step up. She and Giovanni will be greatly missed.

If you have any skills or know someone who might be a good fit for the position, we’ll be looking for nominations and elections for a new Secretary at our Fall Rally this October.

Also, I’ve chatted with our Outstanding Treasurer, Margo Hickman, and we’re both excited about our plans to take the Florida Flamingles to the Spring Rally of 2027. After that, we’ll be stepping down and passing the torch to the next President and Treasurer to lead our group.

Great news! We’ve found the perfect spot for our Fall Rally.

We’re excited to invite you all to The Waves Signature RV Resort in Naples, Florida, from Friday, October 30th, to Monday, November 2nd.

The Waves is a Zeeman Homes Resort, the same company that owns The Surf RV Resort, which we all know and love.

Naples is a fantastic city in SW Florida, famous for its stunning beaches, natural wonders like the Everglades, beautiful Botanical Gardens, charming downtown areas, and, of course, world-class golf courses!

The Waves is a mature RV park surrounded by trees, and the best part is all the sites are positioned so that you don’t have another site behind you. We recently visited and found a beautiful oak tree on our site where we could relax under the afternoon sun with cocktails, which was absolutely delightful.

We’re so grateful to have Gerzeny’s on site again for us, and it was a pleasure to meet Tom Ray for the first time.

Tom had an incredible weekend with us, getting to learn and really appreciate the LTV brand and, most importantly, the family.

Tom asked me to share a personal note of thanks with you all, and once again, the members of the Florida Flamingles showed him who we are and gave him a warm welcome.

If you were at our Spring Rally, you met and heard from AnnMarie, the Executive Director of Day Star Life Center, on Saturday night.

I just heard from her family this morning that she had a medical emergency that required her to be hospitalized the following Sunday.

We all know that there’s power in Prayer, so if you’re able, please keep her and her family in your Thoughts Prayers as she recovers.

Wow, what a rally we had! And what a wonderful thing you all did to make a real difference in the lives of those in need in Crystal River.

We all gathered in the beautiful Gulf Coastal town of Crystal River, Florida, for an amazing 3 days of fun, fellowship, food, and experiences that this town and Sweet Citrus Acres RV Resort have to offer. The staff at Sweet Citrus Acres, led by Dottie Williams, were absolutely top-notch, and our Activities Director, Rhonda Wright, ensured that all our needs were met, and their hospitality and care for us were most certainly recognized.

First, let me give some special recognition.

Even though I may be the President of the Florida Flamingles, I am only one person, and to be honest, putting on a rally takes a village, and that is exactly what we have.

Following up on our recent announcement about the Spring Rally, we’re so sorry to let you know that we’ve run into a bit of a snag with the contract at the resort.

Unfortunately it was brought to our attention that this would have meant that one of our Loyal Sponsors would not be able to participate in the rally on that property, which I personally found to be unacceptable so a decision was made to look elsewhere.

Our Team is working hard to find a new spot and dates that work for everyone.

We’re really grateful for your patience as we sort this out. I am truly sorry for the initial announcement that didn’t pan out as we hoped.
