I was tied of ice cream being like soup and the refrigerator staying around 44 degrees so I had the 3-way replaced with a 12 volt compressor, the Norcold N2175BPR. That is what LTV is now using. The two outside vents are closed off with Reflectix insulation. The first day at 3 PM the inside refrigerator temp was 67 degrees. By midnight it was down to 34 degrees. Physically a perfect fit. $3,230 by Mill Murray who winters in Clearwater where I had the conversion done.
Thanks Bob. Did you buy the refrigerator from Mr. Murray.
If not where?
Arlene
