Hello everyone. We are newbies having just purchased a 2024 Unity RL. We have much to learn but, I thought I would ask members who tow what vehicle is your choice. We’re planning a long trip across the country next spring/summer and think we might want a smaller vehicle for touring around. Any thoughts pro/con would be appreciated. Thank you.

Jeep Wrangler 2-door here. Blue Ox towing system with Patriot aux brake system (would perhaps go with an installed brake system next time). Super easy setup of the Jeep (there's a reason that you see so many being towed.) We did a 10K mile trip last year with no issues (another 8K miles on the Jeep while exploring). Averaged 15.4 MPG even with the tow.
We tow a Jeep Wrangler. It can take us on roads we wouldn’t want to take the van. It’s also much easier for parking and maneuvering in tight spaces.
For 4 years we towed a manual shift Honda FIT. It was a neat little car but as my personal vehicle I missed having a truck. This year we are towing my Ford Maverick hybrid, A little heavier but more room.
