Recipient of our Charitable Donation at our Spring Rally
I am delighted to announce the selection of our charitable organization for our Spring Rally.
At our previous fall rally, we had agreed that The Florida Flamingles as a group wanted to make an impact on the local Crystal River community in the form of a monetary donation.
Sweet Citrus Acres played a significant role in helping us identify organizations within the community. I am pleased to announce that the organization chosen to receive our donation is Daystar Life Center Inc.
Daystar Life Center serves the local community in various capacities, including providing a local food bank and offering other essential services to residents facing everyday challenges.
On Saturday evening, we will be honored to have the Executive Director join us for dinner, where we will receive our donation and provide us firsthand insights into how the Florida Flamingles will impact the local community.
Additionally, we have been invited to tour their facility on Friday morning at 8:00 a.m. for a 30-minute tour.
Both Kim and I will be attending the event, so if you would like to join us, please let me know.
