Refrigerator - Replace absorption-type with compressor-type?
We have a 2019 Unity RTB with a Dometic absorption frig.
While it is working OK at this time, I'm just not thrilled with the overall performance of absorption refrigerators, especially when it is hot out.
I've been doing some preliminary research to try and find a compressor-based unit that would fit in the same space. (We don't boondock so I'm not particularly concerned with not being able to power the frig with propane.) I reached out to Dometic but they replied with units that are somewhat larger.
Has anyone successfully done this? If so, please share details such as the make and model of the refrigerator and what, if any, mods were needed.

CTM Customs in Stuart Florida replaces the Dometic 3 way with the LG 6 cuft or NovaKool 2175N electric refrigerators. They do a great job. An electric compressor refrigerator performs much better and is more reliable. It's very battery friendly if you have solar as well.
