Florida Flamingles Code of Conduct

Leisure Travel Vans (LTV) and the Florida Flamingles LTV Travelers Club assumes that Club members will be intelligent, well-intended, and will behave safely, and as all clubs and events are self-regulated, we are not inclined to tell people what to do. However, we want every event and interaction to be safe and enjoyable. That is why we’ve developed a code of conduct we expect everyone to follow. The core of our code of conduct is as follows:

LTV and Florida Flamingles LTV Travelers Club does not condone and prohibits any the following behavior by Club members and guests:

1.      Harassment or offensive behavior at rallies, club events, or anywhere. It goes against LTV company values and, more importantly, against our values as human beings. Harassment includes but is not limited to verbal comments that reinforce social structures of domination (related to gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age, or religion). Harassment also includes slights and unintended and intentional negative messages based solely on appearance (sometimes called microaggressions).

2.      Sexualized images in public spaces;

3.      Deliberate intimidation, stalking, or following persons;

4.      Harassing unconsented photography or recording

5.      Sustained disruption of tours or other Club events,

6.      inappropriate physical contact

6.      Unwelcome sexual attention

This prohibition includes advocating for or encouraging any of the above behavior

Club Executive Board/Leadership will deal with any such reported offensive behavior expeditiously.
